How CommentThe.net works
Install one small browser extension, visit a public page and open its independent CommentThe.net conversation.
1. Add the extension
Install CommentThe.net from its official Chrome Web Store listing. It has been tested in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows and is designed for Chrome-based desktop browsers on Windows and Mac.
2. Visit a public webpage
The extension uses the page address to find that page’s CommentThe.net conversation. Different public pages have different conversations, so discussion remains tied to its source.
3. Read or join in
Anyone can read. To post or reply, create a free account and choose a nickname. Your email address is used for the account but is not displayed publicly. You can edit or delete your own contributions.
4. Keep the bubble handy
Pin CommentThe.net from your browser’s Extensions menu. The toolbar bubble stays visible and its badge can show when the page you are visiting already has comments.
