Start in the extension

Account recovery, comment management, reporting and account deletion are available inside CommentThe.net. Never share your password or verification code with anybody.

Something is not working

Reload CommentThe.net from your browser's Manage extension page, then try again on a normal public webpage. If you discuss a problem in the comments on CommentThe.net's homepage, include only:

Your browser and its version.
The public webpage address where the problem happened.
What you expected and what actually happened.
A screenshot only if it does not reveal private information.

Account or password help

Use Forgot password? on the login screen to request a reset code. If the email does not arrive, check Spam or Junk before trying again. Account deletion instructions are on the Delete Account page.

Report spam, abuse or a dangerous link

Open the small ⋯ menu beside another person's comment and choose Report comment. Reports are private, require a signed-in account and are limited to one report per account for each comment. Do not repost illegal or highly sensitive material elsewhere.

Browser compatibility

CommentThe.net has been tested in Chrome and Edge on Windows. It is designed for Chrome-based desktop browsers on Windows and Mac. Trying Opera, Brave, Vivaldi or another Chromium browser? We would love to hear whether it worked.
